Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Health Insurance Agent that is contracted with O'Neill Marketing and appointed with Ambetter, Oscar and United Healthcare to join our team and drive impactful insurance solutions for our clients. In this role, you service inbound calls and use your expertise in insurance sales, customer service, and marketing to educate clients about their health coverage options, negotiate tailored plans, and foster long-term relationships. Duties
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns, to identify their health insurance needs.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client situations to recommend suitable insurance plans that align with their financial and health requirements.
- Negotiate terms and coverage options with insurance providers to secure the best benefits for clients while maintaining profitability.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain complex insurance policies clearly and transparently, ensuring clients understand their benefits and obligations.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote health insurance products effectively across various channels, including retail sales environments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, assisting with benefits administration, and supporting ongoing policy management in compliance with CMS regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while building trust with clients.
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and CRM tools for managing client information efficiently.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance when handling sensitive health information.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to articulate complex concepts clearly and foster positive relationships.
